Our passion for sustainable Beekeeping and Bee breeding has positioned us as one of the most successful Apiary's in Kent. With the production of High quality Raw Honey as one of our main assets to the business, but we also are heavily involved in Bee Breading to produce as near native Bee, that is conditioned to the Kent climate, unfortunately over the past few years it was the case that ,most of the Bees supplied in the UK were imported and not suitable for the UK climate, which not only led to excessive losses of Bee colonies, but also also a massive change to the genetics within our Native Bees.
Leading to major problems for British Beekeepers. The importing of Bees into the UK has now stopped, but it will take quite a long time to sort out all of the problems that have been created.
